Star Wars Squadrons Review: A Space Shooter To Live Up To The Myth

Electronic Arts continue to explore the Star Wars franchise and enrich the Canonical Lore with a Shooter. Star Wars: Squadrons takes up the torch of fire the Rogue Squadron trilogy as well as the X-Wing series, and focuses exclusively on space combat, the central element of the saga imagined by George Lucas. EA Motive Studios is here interested in the art of dogfighting and focuses on the fall of the Empire seen through the prism of a cockpit. Rebel or Imperial, who will emerge victorious from this ideological confrontation? ... in a galaxy far, far away, the conflict between the New Republic and the remnants of the Galactic Empire rages on. The destruction of the Death Star as well as the deaths of Darth Vader and the Emperor at the end of Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi rebalances the debates on the galactic chessboard. Imperial troops scattered across the galaxy are trying to thwart the plans of the Rebel Alliance and more specifically the Starhawk Project which would all

Spelunky 2 Review - An Abysmal Exploration In The Gaming Arena

Yes, Spelunky 2 is finally here, and now not only you will be able to play it on PC, but on PS4 as well! I have to say that I've been waiting for it for such a long time. In fact, I've been waiting for that game since the first appearance back in 2018, mainly after the launch of a mini-trailer that showed almost nothing but except for the title of the game. But since then, the publisher and developer Mossmouth, in partnership with Blitwork, have distilled the information on this game and they just did it very sparingly. The game has been available since September 15 for PlayStation 4, and will soon be available on steam and all other media as well.  Spelunky 2 is absolutely a must-have. A legitimate and perfectly mastered sequel to the best 2D platformer of all time. As in the first Spelunky released, (that was back then in June 2012), the story is quite anecdotal, a pretext like in a Mario, where you can live an extraordinary fun adventure. So if we remember in the first ver

Marvel's Avengers Review - The Good And The Bad Side of the Game

When it comes to Marvel's Avengers, it's strange how much excitement and doubt arouses over the famous Square Enix project. On the one hand, seasoned superhero fans put their faith in the talent of Crystal Dynamics, and on the other, a bunch of players is ready to battle against the funny game design opted from the Canadian firm. Here, the creators of Tomb Raider going to develop the side of the slasher-looter with, at the center of the story, an unknown heroine in the person of Miss Marvel (not to be confused with Captain Marvel, widely popularized in the past from the movie) aka Kamala Khan, a young high school student starting out in the field. As we approach an imminent scheduled release in early September, I was able to get my hands on the beta scheduled for August for the general public, quietly and full of curiosity. A generous demo that was left to feel for almost five hours. The time has therefore come for a first verdict, half fig, half grape. Basically, the idea of

Horizon Zero Dawn Review - The PS4 Exclusive Is Coming To PC, Is It Really The Ultimate Version?

Three years after its release on PS4, Horizon Zero Dawn has lost none of its intrinsic qualities. The original universe, classic but effective open-world, impressive bestiary, and interesting fights are once again answering the call. In addition, this PC version does not really usurp its subtitle "Complete Edition" since it includes the downloadable content The Frozen Wilds as well as bonus packs. And, above all, it displays even more sophisticated graphics than before. On the other hand, even if the game is more beautiful than ever, it is currently capricious and prone to crashes. You can always try to go between the drops, but I recommend that you wait for the first patches before you jump on the Steam version or the Epic Games Store. Between Xbox Game Pass and the arrival of old PlayStation exclusives, it's been pretty good being a PC gamer these days. After Halo, Gears of War, Detroit Become Human, or even Death Stranding, it is the turn of the Horizon Zero Dawn franc

Upcoming Game Release: Crash Bandicoot 4, It's all about time

Toy For Bob announced earlier this week the upcoming of the direct sequel of the Crash Bandicoot trilogy. The game should be launched in October this year. In this new release, the nefarious Dr. Neo Cortex, the villainous Dr. N. Tropy, and the infamous Uka-Uka have torn the fabric of space and time, causing a temporal rift. So if you guessed, Coco and Crash will have will be once more in a mission where they will have to stop the marsupials , because these enemies want to rule over the multiverse as its evil emperors. Crash Bandicoot 4,  It's all about time  will be an action-platformer with great mechanics and a brand new fresh visual direction this time. I remember that Toy For Bob also developed some cool video games such as The Spyro Reignited trilogy. As far as I know, that game aims to deliver the most precise gameplay we all fell in love with back in the 90s, except for this time it might be interested in how things will look like with these similarities in that new game.
