MXGP 2020 Review: Great Sensations On PS5

Milestone Interactive has not been unemployed at the end of the last decade, synonymous with the end of the console generation. Between Ride , MotoGP , Monster Energy Supercross, and MXGP , the Milanese studio has produced more than a dozen titles in 3 years since 2018 (!). I was impatiently awaiting the first baby adapted to a next-gen console, I am talking about the brand new PS5 and its DualSense controller. 2021 offers us this first draft with motocross and MXGP 2020 , already published on PC and old-gen mid-December. In fact, this is the sixth episode dedicated to the MXGP championship, fifth in five years, the latter can face some obstacles despite a real feeling of technical progress over time. Developed each season with little time between each title, stagnation lurks and could stain the new beast from Sony. I was also expecting a smooth technical transition first and some surprises in the content, quite dull in the last installments. A BRAND NEW ENGINE CALLED PS5 And from t

Override 2: Super Mech League Review - Take The Same Ones And Start Over

Two years ago, Override: Mech City Brawl was released, the title put us in command of a robot for battle in arenas. The concept seemed appealing, but yet, many flaws spoiled the experience: too limited content, too messy handling and fights ... In short, all was not rosy in the land of mechs. With the arrival of Override 2: Super Mech League , my expectations were high and I hoped that the major flaws of the first title would be corrected. More content, more rhythm in the fights ... These are all flaws that I found in the first episode and which unfortunately have not been corrected. So what does this new game bring us? Let's play mecha-no Before I start, let's do the presentations, Override 2: Super Mech League is a 3D fighting game between robots (mechas), developed by the Brazilian studio Modus Studios Brazil, those nostalgic for Grendizer, Gundam, or even Power Rangers are in charge. of these iron giants. I specify directly. If you don't have an online account, go yo

Wingspan Review - A Brand New Strategy Card Game For Nintendo Switch

Wingspan is the latest from publisher Stonemaier Games . This publisher, through its games like Viticulture , Scythe,  or Charterstone to name a few, is becoming one of the most innovative, dynamic, and interesting publishers to follow in the small world of playful creation. Just through one of its creators, Jamey Stegmaier, who offers real conferences or master classes from his living room on social networks, and likes to share his vision, his ideas, and his thoughts on the world of gaming. So I can only suggest you go and have a look by yourself, it is extremely informative! Then because Stonemaier Games offers real little jewels in boxes. They don't just take out the games, they give it real care and the content as much as the container is neat. Themes are not just there to ride this or that mode - you just have to look at Scythe and its extremely immersive and deep theme. Wingspan is a perfect illustration of this with its theme which, at first glance, would only raise the b

Football Manager 2021 Review - Statistical Football Is Back

New football season, and also inevitably we have the right to a new episode of the most famous football simulation license. So obviously it's a bit special year for sports competitions because of the current pandemic. But no risk here, because Football Manager 2021 will be able to help you live your coaching career while respecting all barrier gestures. The license continues its path by releasing an episode each year and making some new features and adjustments. The license will also be available this year on Xbox, but this one will be a version closer to the one on mobile with the Touch series. So, here I will talk about the PC version only, and my review carried out on the beta version of the game for more than 30 hours. I have a PC with a good configuration, so I will start with this one for today. A full season has been completed, as some season starts with other clubs as well. What are the new features for this year? This year, Sports Interactive is offering us an episode th

Astro’s Playroom Review - A love letter to the PlayStation brand

Even if it is included with all PlayStation 5, Astro's Playroom is ultimately the first exclusive to the console, which is nothing in this special context of generation launch, which relies above all on cross-gen and backward compatibility. And if we could legitimately fear that the title of the Asobi team is only a technical demo of the new DualSense controller, the studio does not take long to reassure us. Before rushing headlong into the PS5, Astro’s Playroom offers gamers a bit of nostalgia with a peek in the rearview mirror of PlayStation brand life. A real breeding ground for winks and easter eggs that will revive many memories, the game celebrates the brand in the most beautiful way and sometimes with a lot of inventiveness, by replacing some platforms with memory cards, or many clouds in the form of PS1, when it is not directly the heroes of the brand who are parodied. It is also not uncommon to come across little robots made up of Kratos, Nathan Drake or Ellie, in mini-p

Demon's Souls Review - New for PS5

The father of the Souls series, called  Demon's Souls , returns after more than 10 years in a remake version on Playstation 5. The Bluepoin t teams offer us a new journey into a hell populated by demons, difficulty, and nostalgia. Does the magic still operate in 2020? It is well known, the series of Action RPG games developed by the teams of Bluepoint and From Software is renowned for its high standards, difficulty, and quality, which offer players an extraordinary gaming experience. In a decade, Souls ( Demon's Souls , Dark Souls , Bloodborne, or Sekiro ) have established themselves as essentials in video games and have won over countless numbers of people. We are now at the dawn of a new generation of consoles and games where the father of this now legendary license, Demon's Souls , returns in a remake version, exclusively for the PlayStation 5 from November. I invite you to discover my full opinion after about thirty hours of play, in order to see if the game which la

GodFall Review - It's Beautiful, It's Powerful, But It's not Enough

While it was the very first game announced for PS5, Godfall is not the true spearhead that some had hoped for. Under a really attractive graphic coating (but technically far from being infallible), this action game with large loot components is inspired by the tenors of the genre that are God of War or the titles of FromSoftware , unfortunately without taking back the genius: the narrative is poor, the staging lacks panache and, above all, its meager level design shows an ultra-repetitive structure without ambition ... and ultimately very disappointing content. However, everything is not to be thrown away, far from it since the fights are nervous, the artistic direction sometimes shows a great efficiency while the general atmosphere which emanates from it, mythological lore in support, portends a potentially bright future. If the developers take their courage (and their budget) with both hands to deliver a smarter and more airy experience, no doubt we could have an otherwise more fun

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Review: Strong Like A Viking, Thin Like An Assassin

It took 13 years and a slew of episodes for the Assassin’s Creed series for this brand new installment and then return to the Middle Ages. Valhalla , the new title, takes us back to the first years of the Golden Age of the Vikings and has chosen to forge its own path compared to its two predecessors, Origins and Odyssey . A colony to manage, from infiltration based on crowd concealment, the more extensive use of environmental puzzles, all grafted onto the modern Action-RPG approach of the license: anxious to offer a “best” approach. -of ”of the series, has Assassin's Creed Valhalla succeeded? Before we get started, a quick word is needed on the options at the start of the game: on this point, Assassin's Creed Valhalla is adorned with some good ideas offering better customization of the experience: it is for example possible to configure the difficulty of combat, that of exploration (offering more or fewer indications) and infiltration (determining the ability of enemies to
