Crash Bandicoot 4 Review - It's About Time: Yes, it was about time!

Galvanized by the success of the remakes of the first three Crash Bandicoots as well as the excellent Crash Team Racing, Toys for Bob and Beenox studios took on a daunting challenge. In fact, Activision has placed them in charge of the fourth official installment of the Crash Bandicoot franchise. However, the talent of the developers has transcended time and allows Crash Bandicoot 4 : It’s About Time to become one of the best games in the saga while making us wonder why we didn’t get it before. The game is available for the Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 gaming console. So what's inside this new installment? Well, today I decided to make a  Crash Bandicoot 4 review, so let's see what its all about. When is a new animated series? It's obvious, but despite the years that have passed, Crash Bandicoot 4 is the direct sequel to Crash Bandicoot 3: The game quickly introduces us to the evil plan of the trio of Neo Cortex, N. Tropy, and Uka Uka to escape the prison where Crash and h

Baldur's Gate 3 Review: Our thoughts on Larian's very (very) promising RPG

A true monument of the RPG history, the mere mention of the name Baldur's Gate is often enough to stir up the flame of nostalgia in the hearts of many players. Knowing this, we discovered Baldur's Gate III with some excitement. Unfortunately, I was not able to play it directly but  I saw a long session of live gameplay online and, all I can say, it is a nice slap. I was able to attend no less than 2 hours of gameplay. The developers at Larian have intentionally ignored the tutorial to show us the heart of the action with a well-established character. However, I was able to see in detail the character editor which is as always in this type of RPG a big piece and the assurance of spending a lot of time there. That of Baldur's Gate III is faithful to what Larian knows how to do: by that, it means something extremely close to Divinity Original Sin 2 in terms of aesthetics, design, and possibilities. Even the main menu and its music are very "Larianesque" and we fee

13 Sentinels Aegis Rim Review, A Video Game Developed By Vanillaware

Vanillaware's first real new game since Dragon's Crown, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim has therefore taken no less than six years to reach us on this side of the Atlantic ocean. Despite day one sales below the developer's record, positive word-of-mouth in Japan ended up causing stockouts and pushing the title up into Famitsu's top 30, an extremely rare occurrence for a PlayStation game. . Suffice to say that even in science fiction, the talent of the Osaka firm is intact. The plot of 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim is so colossal that we hardly know where to start, or really where to end. As the title suggests, you follow the evolution of 13 characters confronted with an invasion of mad machines, suddenly appearing in Tokyo during the year 1985. These young men and girls call upon enormous robots, the kihei, in the fight for the preservation of humanity. This is very schematically what the prologue says, but it's actually much more complicated than that! The title is divided into

Spelunky 2 Review - An Abysmal Exploration In The Gaming Arena

Yes, Spelunky 2 is finally here, and now not only you will be able to play it on PC, but on PS4 as well! I have to say that I've been waiting for it for such a long time. In fact, I've been waiting for that game since the first appearance back in 2018, mainly after the launch of a mini-trailer that showed almost nothing but except for the title of the game. But since then, the publisher and developer Mossmouth, in partnership with Blitwork, have distilled the information on this game and they just did it very sparingly. The game has been available since September 15 for PlayStation 4, and will soon be available on steam and all other media as well.  Spelunky 2 is absolutely a must-have. A legitimate and perfectly mastered sequel to the best 2D platformer of all time. As in the first Spelunky released, (that was back then in June 2012), the story is quite anecdotal, a pretext like in a Mario, where you can live an extraordinary fun adventure. So if we remember in the first ver

Hades Review: A Rogue-Lite To Die For

When it arrived in early access in December 2018, it could be said that the people looked carefully at the future of little Hades , a game from Supergiant Games - like the previous ones - very promising. Their spinning work completed with the release of version 1.0, have the deities been able to weigh in so that he fulfills all his ambitions so as not to end up in the Rogue-like cemetery without any real added value? Before some popular TV soaps such as Dynasty, Dallas, Santa Barbara and other shows stuffed with twisted family stories and twists that hold viewers in suspense, there were also the Greek gods. In the dysfunctional family genre, you will never get better, or worse. And go ahead that we transform into an animal to seduce a landlady, that we spawn demigods, that we eternally torture too enterprising humans, that we grant privileges to heroes to zigzag disgusting creatures, that we fight, that we are jealous, that we separate, that we tear each other apart, that we put everyt

EFootball PES 2021 Review: An Update Without Any Big Surprises

You've often read on this blog this utopian commentary about annual sports games: with the little change from year to year, so in this case, I might just update jerseys and transfers for you guys. Well yes, Konami took once again just did it. The eFootball PES 2021 football game was shaping up to be an update in roster and tunics compared to PES 2020, less expensive than usual with no change in content. So what about this game, and are there any good or bad surprises in it? Take responsibility to divide less. This is the motto of Pro Evolution Soccer this season, to settle with the inaction of sports licenses like Madden NFL or NBA 2K. In fact, the studios are focused on the next-gen releases of their famous saga but have laid out almost identical or even sloppy titles compared to the last games, provoking the grumbling of many players. Konami is almost ready to release a new-generation PES 2022 as well, and I think this time they won't miss the turn, but for its part, they wi

It's now official, the Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S are now available since November 10. These gaming consoles were of course be accompanied by many games at their launch, starting with Assassin's Creed Valhalla, the game was developed by Ubisoft. This great open-world game was normally expected for November 19, has just moved its release to a new date forward by a few days in order to properly support the launch of the ninth generation console from Microsoft. So that's mean on November 10 the game is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and Xbox Series X / S. Of course, players who buy the Microsoft Day One console can also count on the presence of Watch Dogs Legion. I am very excited to announce that players will be able to experience Assassin’s Creed Valhalla sooner than expected! So I can't wait to see the world they have created over the past 3 years, it wi

Battletoads Review 2020 - The Saga Is Back On The XBox ONE

Just a few days ago, I returned to NEO. Classics back a while ago when the studio did a series of masterpieces on Nintendo consoles and just a little bit on the Xbox. In this month of August 2020, it is precisely a flagship license of the 90s, signed RARE, which is back: Battletoads. Obviously, this time the game is exclusive to the Microsoft ecosystem, so this new Battletoads is only available on Xbox One and Windows. But do Microsoft gamers really have something to celebrate with this new exclusive? Not sure…but let's find more about this version of the classic video game. The Battletoads saga is back! With this new Battletoads, the (old) gamer obviously expects to find this beat'em all so emblematic of the 8/16 bit era. While Streets of Rage 4 made a stunning comeback last April, we had every right to hope for a winning comeback for the famous mutant toads of our childhood. Thus, in 2020, we find Rash, Zitz, and Pimple, in a brand new beat'em all playable up to 3 simulta

New Info About Cyberpunk 2077, An Overview Of The Upcoming Game

A few days ago after the announcement of its final postponement from September 17 to November 19, 2020, here they are, the first playable tests of the video game Cyberpunk 2077. On this occasion, the new project of the Polish rockstar CD Projekt RED even risked outside the nest, via remote gaming sessions overseen by publisher Bandai Namco. Therefore we were, able to see what it look likes for four hours., The famous futuristic megalopolis which had a waking dream some time ago and which is becoming more real each time, for the better and for… the less good? Are we allowed to write that? You might say this playable preview of Cyberpunk 2077 had a funny effect on me, simply because the closer the plane gets to the ground, the clearer it is that it was not 'a UFO, but ... an airplane and nothing more. So this is a beautiful shiny plane, obviously pharaonic in its proportions and its ambitions, but somewhere also "just a plane". Note that we will avoid here all the image-b
